Why Our Children’s Ministry Matters

Christ-Centered Learning
Kids learn Bible stories and truths in ways that are engaging, age-appropriate, and easy to understand.

Safe & Welcoming Environment
Our volunteers create a warm, nurturing space where every child feels loved, valued, and cared for.

Faith Through Fun
We help children grow spiritually through activities, songs, crafts, and interactive experiences that make learning enjoyable.
Children's Ministry
“Let the little children come…” —Jesus
Children are precious to God, and they are precious to us. At Eastgate, we create a place where kids not only learn about Jesus but truly get to know Him while having fun together.
Our Children’s Ministry Team leads programs and events that connect kids and families with God and each other—Sabbath School, kid-focused vespers, Vacation Bible School, family nights, and more. Everyone is welcome, and you can stay updated through our church calendar and Facebook page.

Faith, Fun, and
Friendship
Children’s Sabbath Schools begin at 9:30 each Sabbath, with age-appropriate classes for every child:
Beginners (0–3) • Kindergarten (4–6) • Primary (7–9) • Juniors (10–12) •
Earliteen (13-15) • Youth (16–18)
Each class is led by caring volunteers who love helping kids grow in faith and friendship.
All children’s ministry team members undergo regular background checks—we prioritize your child’s safety.
Vacation Bible School
Each summer, Eastgate hosts a Vacation Bible School experience that brings children together from across the Walla Walla Valley and beyond. Through games, songs, Bible stories, and hands-on activities, kids are introduced to Jesus in a fun, engaging, and welcoming environment.
Vacation Bible School is designed to help children build friendships, grow in their faith, and experience God’s love in meaningful ways. It’s a week filled with joy, learning, and lasting memories that support spiritual growth long after the summer ends.
